In Georgia, Xingtong advanced to the 36-hole championship match after a remarkable semifinal victory over top seed Grace Carter. Despite a valiant effort, Xingtong was narrowly defeated 2 and 1 by Canada's Aphrodite Deng in the final.
Throughout the tournament, Xingtong showcased resilience and skill, including a pivotal birdie on the 18th hole in the semifinals to secure her place in the final. Her performance not only elevated her confidence but also earned her exemptions into the upcoming US Women's Amateur Championship. Despite earning a spot in the US Women’s Amateur Championships, she will not be participating in it due to scheduling conflicts.

Speaking to The Straits Times, Xingtong reflected, “Definitely saw a lot of positives out there. Just being able to keep my focus and my spirit throughout these 35 holes, and just not giving up, even though I was like four down.”
She added, “There were a lot of positives and I’ve been able to figure out some of my weaknesses as well.”
Her breakthrough performance at the US Girls’ Junior Championship is a landmark achievement for Singapore golf and highlights the rising potential of young athletes on the international stage. It adds to her growing list of accolades, which includes becoming the youngest player to win the women’s title at the 2024 Singapore Open Amateur Championships at just 15 years old. Xingtong was also awarded the Moo Soon Chong Outstanding Student-Athlete of the Year at the 21st Awards Night this year for her remarkable achievements in 2024.
