For Goalkeeper Chantale, gratitude defines her response to the scholarship. Inspired by the likes of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, she is hopeful to maximize the opportunity in the United States. Previously from CHIJ Primary Toa Payoh, Chantale is determined to develop her skills and take her performance to new heights. Chantale is also the first-ever goalkeeper, of any gender, to earn this scholarship.

14-year-old attacking midfielder Edan is the youngest recipient of the scholarship to date. Edan shared, "I feel very proud knowing that everything I went through to get this scholarship had a great outcome and I’m looking forward to moving to Spain alongside all the other scholars. It feels very special to be among the others and I hope to also up my level in not only football but also my grades. One thing that I would like to achieve in my time there is lifting a trophy with my team and learning from all the culture and playstyle to make me a better player."

The scholarship is a key step in Singapore's efforts to nurture future national players. These young athletes will gain valuable experience and bring their sharpened skills back to local football. Their achievements show the strength of talent at Singapore Sports School and promise a bright future for Singapore football.
