Artistic Swimming: World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup #3 and #4

Current student-athlete in the Diploma in Business programme, Yvette Chong Ann, and alumna Debbie Soh delivered a personal best score of 251.8791 in the Women’s Duet Technical event at the third stop of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup held in Xi’an, China. The pair finished eighth among 23 competing duets, surpassing their previous personal best of 248.2775 set at the 2025 SEA Games.

The duo returned to the pool for the Women’s Duet Free event, where they produced another strong performance, scoring 218.7183 to place 10th out of 18 duets. Debbie and Yvette concluded the competition with a combined overall score of 470.5974.

At the fourth stop of the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup in Pontevedra, Spain, the pair continued their impressive form. They achieved a new personal best score of 232.4750 in the Women’s Duet Free event and scored 250.4192 in the Women’s Duet Technical event, finishing 12th out of 28 duets. Their results reflect the pair’s steady rise on the international stage.

Canoeing: 2026 Asia Pacific Sprint Cup


At the 2026 Asia Pacific Sprint Cup, an annual canoe sprint event held in New Zealand, Lim Kai Jing from IBDP Year 5 was part of the U18 Women K4 500m team that won the bronze medal in the final, finishing with a time of 1:44.95.

The competition featured strong international participation, with athletes from Australia, India, Japan, and Mongolia, making it a highly competitive regional event.

Cycling: YSD BMX Racing Series 1 & 2 and the 2026 Asia Pacific Sprint Cup


At the YSD BMX Racing Series 1 & 2 on 9 and 10 May 2026 in Malaysia, cyclist Mikha Zuhayr Norman from the Diploma in Business (SSP-RP) course delivered a strong double podium performance in the Men's Elite (19–29) category, securing gold in Series 2 and silver in Series 1. Secondary 2 cyclist Ilyasaq Lee Rossdi clinched silver in the Boys' (14) Series 1.

Golf: Junior Golf Series Indonesia Elite Junior International Championship, RSGC Junior Invitational Golf Championship 2026, Queen Sirikit Cup


Passion Hsu was crowned Overall Champion in the ‘A’ Girls category at the Junior Golf Series Indonesia Elite Junior International Championship, held from 28 to 30 April 2026, delivering a consistent and composed performance. She posted rounds of 72–72–75 (+8) to secure the title in a competitive international field.

At the RSGC Junior Invitational Golf Championship 2026, held from 12 to 14 May 2026 at the Royal Selangor Golf Club, Chloe Ng claimed the championship with rounds of 72, 77, and 75, while Anjanette Tan finished strongly in 3rd place in the Overall Girls Division.

Meanwhile, at the Queen Sirikit Cup in Bogor, Chen Xingtong closed her campaign with an impressive final round of 69, finishing tied 11th individually and contributing to Singapore’s 7th-place finish in the team standings.

Football (Girls): T&T Salvage Mariners’ Club Tournament, JSSL Singapore National Youth League

The Singapore Indian Association marked a significant milestone at the T&T Salvage Mariners’ Club Tournament held on 1 May 2026, as its first-ever women’s team was crowned Cup Champions in the competition.

Daania Alodia Sukoor, Nufah Asyura Mohamad Hisham, and Svea Nadia Hertzman made history as part of the pioneering squad, delivering an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Competing against strong U17 opposition, the team showcased exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork on their way to securing the title.

Also, Secondary 2 student-athlete Alisha Mia Shafana Azman played a key role in her JSSL team’s success in the JSSL Singapore National Youth League. Her team emerged as champions of the U14 League Division 1, rounding off an impressive season with strong collective performances.

Lawn Bowls: National Men’s Pairs 2026

Lawn bowler Jonathan Ho Yi En, a Diploma in Business Studies student-athlete, claimed victory in the finals to secure the gold medal in the National Men’s Pairs 2026 competition.

Pencak Silat: 6th National and International Cekak Harimau Malaysia Silat Open Championship 2026

Student-athletes delivered outstanding performances at the 6th National and International Cekak Harimau Malaysia Silat Open Championship 2026, held at Balora Mastika, in Pahang, Malaysia from 14 to 17 May 2026. Current student-athletes who participated in the competition earned 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.

Miyah Nahilah Ahmad Fahmi was in exceptional form throughout the competition, dominating her category to secure the gold medal. In recognition of her remarkable performance, she was also awarded the Best Pre-Junior Athlete Trophy. She remained unbeaten across her bouts, winning all matches either by points or technical knockout.

Adding to the gold medal tally were Putri Zara Herlisya Harrywanto and Tuah Iskandar Junaidi Iskandar.

Sport Climbing: Spark 2026

Secondary 1 student-athlete Kirana Wong came in 3rd in Spark 2026 out of a competitive field of 34 climbers in the Youth ‘C’ Division. The competition was held from 22 to 23 May 2026.

Taekwondo: 12th Tirak International Tournament 2026, National School Games

Taekwondo exponent Ethan Liow clinched a gold medal and a silver medal at the 12th Tirak International Tournament 2026, held on 30 May 2026, at Fashion Island, Bangkok, Thailand.

Competing against top junior athletes from Australia, the Philippines, India, and the host nation Thailand, Ethan showcased exceptional skill, focus, and determination on the international stage. In the Junior Mixed Pair event, Ethan and his partner delivered a confident and polished performance, earning a score of 8.16 to secure the gold medal. He also performed well in the Junior Male Individual category, scoring 8.39 to claim the silver medal, finishing just 0.03 points behind a strong Thai competitor in a closely contested event.

Earlier in the month, Ethan delivered a standout performance at the National School Games, topping the ‘B’ Division Boys’ Poom/Black 3 category with a strong Taebaek routine to secure the gold medal.

Student-athletes from the Multi-Sport Academy, Jaeden Shaw Kai Jun, Zaccheus Ker Jun Kai, and Kendrix Kam Jing Yang, also represented the school and demonstrated commendable effort and resilience throughout the competition.

Track and Field: FTAA Junior Athletics Championships 2026

At the FTAA Junior Athletics Championships 2026 held from 22 to 24 May 2026 in Selangor, Malaysia, Abdul Raqib Abdul Razak delivered a massive personal best to claim bronze in the Men’s 110m Hurdles. He also teamed up with Ashley Seah Jia En, Neo En Yu and Muhammed Aaryan Shah Azhar to secure another bronze medal in the Mixed 4x400m Relay.

Triathlon: 2026 Asia Triathlon Cup - Tam Chuc

Lim Cheng Yu clinched a bronze medal at the 2026 Asia Triathlon Cup - Tam Chuc in Vietnam, finishing behind two Vietnamese athletes in the Elite Men category.

Water Polo: Singapore Water Polo League


In the Singapore Water Polo League on 23 May 2026, Janelle Chua and Freya Kylie Lim played instrumental roles in helping the women's water polo team secure the runner-up title. The final was a fiercely contested match, where the team narrowly lost by just one point to the strong Hwa Chong x Pacer team.

Wushu: Oceania International Invitational Wushu Kung Fu Championships 2026


At the Oceania International Invitational Wushu Kung Fu Championships 2026 held in Brisbane, Australia, from 21 to 25 May 2026, IBDP Year 5 student-athlete Chua Xin Yun clinched the gold medal in Men’s Jianshu.

Alumni Zoe Tan and Chia Kai Ming, who recently graduated from Sport School’s joint diploma programmes in May, also performed outstandingly. Zoe secured a gold in Women’s Gunshu and a silver in Women’s Changquan, while Kai Ming achieved gold in Men’s Changquan.
