Canoeing: 2026 Asian Canoe Sprint Junior & U23 Championships and 2026 Asian Paracanoe Championships


IBDP Year 5 student-athlete Lim Kai Jing and her partner Kayla Heng achieved remarkable success at the 2026 Asian Canoe Sprint Junior & U23 Championships and 2026 Asian Paracanoe Championships held in Turkestan, Kazakhstan. Competing in the K2 Women Juniors U18 kayak double category, the pair secured the gold medal in the 200m sprint with an impressive time of 46.052 seconds, as well as a bronze medal in the 500m race.

Golfer Anjanette Tan was on a brilliant streak during the school holidays, capturing the overall champion title at the 32nd SICC Junior Invitational Golf Championship held from 16 to 18 June. Earlier in the month, she also claimed a third-place finish at the Singapore Junior Golf Championships, which took place from 10 to 12 June 2026. Earlier, she had put up a good performance at the AJGA International Pathway Series Vietnam 2026, finishing third in the U15 division. SSP_Singapore National Amateur Championship-001.jpg

Meanwhile, Passion Hsu clinched the champion's spot at the Singapore National Amateur Championship. Competing in the Ladies Division, Passion staged a superb comeback after trailing by two holes through the front nine. She fought back determinedly to draw level on the 15th hole, before holding her nerve to secure a hard-fought 1-up victory over Amelie Blossom Ng on the final hole.

Gymnastics: 4th Galaxy Rongjing Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational, Training Camp in Tashkent, Uzbekistan


Our rhythmic gymnasts delivered outstanding performances at the 4th Galaxy Rongjing Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational in China. Evangeline Ng and Thea Chew showcased exceptional skill and grace, each claiming five individual titles. Additionally, the senior team, comprising Cleo Chew, Tina Liew, and Mirabelle Yet, put on a flawless display to secure team gold medals.

Gymnasts Hannah Choi, Evangeline Ng, Leia Yap, Liew Xin Yu, Mirabelle Yet, Thea Chew and Cleo Chew sharpened their craft and broadened their learning experience at a training camp in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 15 to 21 June 2026. Through rhythmic and group gymnastics sessions, the camp offered valuable exposure, fresh perspectives, and an opportunity for our gymnasts to grow together beyond home ground.

Squash: Squash: Dymon Asia Lion City Junior Squash Open Championships, South East Asian Individual Junior Squash Championship

With nerves of steel and relentless precision on court, Secondary 1 squash player Kaelen Evan Low stormed to victory at the Dymon Asia Lion City Junior Squash Open Championships, held from 3 to 7 June 2026. Battling through a strong international field, he outplayed his opponents to emerge as the champion in the fiercely contested U13 category. 


Kaelen also captured the U13 crown at the South East Asian Individual Junior Squash Championships in the Philippines.

Taekwondo: Singapore Open Taekwondo Championships 2026 (Poomsae)


Taekwondo exponent Ethan Liow performed outstandingly at the Singapore Open Taekwondo Championships 2026 (Poomsae). He claimed 3 medals - gold in both the Individual and Team events and a bronze in the Pair category. Along with schoolmates Kendrix Kam, Jaeden Shaw, Gwen Koh and Germaine Tan, the taekwondo exponents brought home 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medal across the Individual, Pair and Team events. Battling from the Round of 32 to the finals, they showcased resilience, precision and determination every step of the way. Ethan Liow, who claimed gold in both the Individual and Team events, along with a bronze in the Pair category.

Triathlon: Youth Aquathlon League 2026


Our triathletes delivered impressive results at the Youth Aquathlon League 2026 Race 1. Lim Cheng Yu powered to the top of the podium, capturing a gold medal in the Tertiary/Open category with a finishing time of 16:27, while alumnus Reyes Loh secured second place in the same event. In the Under-19 category, Isabel Lim showed great determination to finish fourth among a competitive field of 16- to 18-year-olds.

Water Polo: Ogaki Cup 2026, 61st MILO Cup

Representing the Singapore U21 Women’s Water Polo Team, student-athletes Ricci Ong, Janelle Chua, Freya Lim, and alumna Clarissa Tio flew the national flag high. The team made an unforgettable splash at the 61st MILO Cup, completely dominating the field to capture the championship title following a clinical 15–7 triumph over Malaysia A in the gold medal match.


Meanwhile, our Singapore Water Polo Youth Team had an impressive run to clinch the Ogaki Cup 2026 title in Japan. The team powered through the tournament with strong wins over Gifu Norin, Bourbon, Toba High School and Yokkaichi Technical High School, before holding their nerve in a thrilling final against Ogaki Higashi High School. After a 14-14 draw, Singapore sealed the championship with a 5-3 victory in the penalty shootout. Sports School was proudly represented by Nathan Yeu, Javier Ng, Ryan Chua, Merrill Hwang, Jaylen Yeo, Justin Saik, Rhys Vaswani, Shmelev Zahar, Chow Yong Jun, Russell Yuan and Matthias Goh.
