Artistic Swimming: World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup Series
Cycling: Rocky Rumble 2025
IBDP Year 5 student-athlete Tara Alayna blazed her way to the top, clinching 1st place in the Superclass Women category at the Rocky Rumble 2025, held in Queensland, Australia, from 14 to 15 June 2025.
Diving: Australian Open Diving Championships
Max Lee Shen Oon and Clara Liaw reached the finals at the Australian Open Championships. Max reached the finals of 3 categories – Men’s 1m Springboard, Men’s 3m Springboard and Open Men’s 3m Synchronised. His results earned a spot in the upcoming SEA Games. Clara reached the finals of Open Women 3m Springboard and Open Women 3m Synchronised events, and earned 3rd place for both events.
Sport Climbing: Spark 2025
At Spark 2025, sport climber Janelle Phua grabbed 3rd place in the Youth C Female category with a strong score of 69.6 points.
Taekwondo: 114th 2025 National Formosa Cup Taekwondo Championships
Our taekwondo student-athletes delivered strong performances at the 114th 2025 National Formosa Cup Taekwondo Championships, held in Taichung. Stepping confidently onto the mat, they made their presence felt with a series of impressive podium finishes.
Secondary 2 student-athlete Ethan Liow stood out in the High School Black Belt division, securing a silver medal in the Individual event, along with bronze medals in both the Team and Mixed Pair categories — a testament to his versatility and consistency across formats.
Secondary 4 taekwondo exponent Gwen Koh displayed a fine blend of finesse and determination, earning bronze in the Individual event and adding another bronze in the Mixed Pair category, rounding off a commendable showing at the championship.
Triathlon: TriFactor Run & RunSwim - National Aquathlon Championships
Reyes Loh Shao En, an IBDP Year 6 triathlete, crossed the finish line in 1st place at the TriFactor Run & RunSwim, which was held alongside the National Aquathlon Championships with a time of 17 minutes and 5 seconds, followed closely by Lim Cheng Yu in 2nd place at 18 minutes and 5 seconds. Alumna Lim Wan Ting took home the Women’s National Aquathlon crown in 19 minutes and 13 seconds.
Water Polo: Yamanashi Cup
After an intensive week of training in Tokyo, our 15U water polo team headed to Kofu to compete in the Yamanashi Cup, held from 31 May to 1 June 2025 at Kofu Higashi High School.
A total of 10 teams participated in the league, which featured intense competition among youth teams. Facing tough competition in a group of five teams in the qualifying round, Team Sports School that comprises nine boys won three matches and narrowly lost to the eventual champions. They went on to clinch 3rd place in the playoff, showcasing grit and growth throughout the tournament.
