Football: Singapore Cricket Club’s Soccer 7s 2026

Our female footballers — Q’Syaira Emelda Azharudin, Putri Alyssa Rianna Muhammad Haslan and Nufah Asyura Mohamad Hisham — were part of the team that clinched the Women’s Plate title at the Singapore Cricket Club’s Soccer 7s 2026 held from 27 to 29 March 2026 at The Padang. Competing in a fast-paced tournament format, the team showed resilience and teamwork throughout their campaign to secure the Plate honours.
Golf: HSBC Youth Golf Challenge

Our golfers put on an outstanding showing at the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge, demonstrating skill, composure and consistency on the course. Extended IBDP student-athlete Denise Ng Wan Xuan emerged champion in the Girls’ ‘A’ Division, with teammate Chloe Ng Ker Ee securing an excellent second-place finish to complete a strong one-two result for the team. In the Girls’ ‘B’ Division, Anjanette Tan Le Xuan also rose to the top of the leaderboard, clinching 1st place.
The golf tournament was held from 16 to 19 March 2026 at the National Service Resort & Country Club.
Squash: ONCOCARE National Junior Championships 2026

Secondary 1 student-athlete Kaelen Evan Low Eu Han delivered an impressive performance at the ONCOCARE National Junior Championships 2026, emerging as the Under-13 Boys’ Singles champion. The competition was held from 24 to 28 March 2026 at Kallang Squash Centre.
Taekwondo: Tampines West CSN TKD Grand Slam Youth Challenge 2026

It was a dominant performance on the mats for taekwondo exponent Ethan Liow Yong En at the Tampines West CSN TKD Grand Slam Youth Challenge 2026. Competing in the Junior Male category, Ethan captured two gold medals in the Individual Koryo and Taebaek events. Fighting under a flag system, he displayed control and precision, securing commanding 3–0 victories in both the semifinals and finals to cap off a remarkable outing.
Water Polo: U18 Water Polo Championship
Our Singapore Under-18 Men’s Water Polo Team have been crowned Asian Under-18 Champions in a thrilling and hard-fought campaign. 9 of the 15 players in the squad are from Sports School, each playing a key role in the team’s success.
In a gripping final against China, both sides were locked at 14–14 at the end of regulation time. The match went into a tense penalty shootout, where our boys held their nerve to secure a 4–3 victory and seal the championship title.
The team’s journey to gold was nothing short of exceptional — finishing unbeaten and overcoming strong opponents including Korea, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and China. With this achievement, they have not only claimed the Asian title but have also qualified for the World Aquatics Under-18 Water Polo Championships.
Our girls’ team with 4 players from Sports School also put up a commendable performance at the same competition, finishing 4th overall and gaining valuable experience on the continental stage.
Wrestling: Thailand National Wrestling Championships
Secondary 1 student-athlete Punyanut Sae Chu delivered a standout performance at the Thailand National Wrestling Championships, clinching gold in the Women’s Wrestling (42kg) category.
Wrestling: WFS National Open & Team Trials 2026
Punyanut Sae Chu continued her impressive run at the WFS National Open & Team Trials 2026, organised by the Wrestling Federation of Singapore, where she secured gold in Girls’ Sport Sambo (50kg, 13–15 years) and added a silver medal in UWW Girls’ Freestyle Wrestling (54kg, 13–15 years), showcasing her versatility across disciplines.
The competition also saw strong performances from our Multi-Sport Academy student-athletes. Secondary 3 student-athletes Chong Qi En and Caleb Chan both clinched gold medals in their respective categories. Qi En won gold in the Girls’ Freestyle Wrestling (54kg, 13–15) and Caleb in the UWW Boys’ Freestyle Wrestling (54kg, 13–15). Their achievements highlight how the Multi-Sport Academy continues to build strong athletic foundations and support athletes in discovering and excelling in their chosen sports.
Also making her mark at the competition was Secondary 4 student-athlete Reeyern Ng, who transitioned from track and field to wrestling after seven years. Competing in the Women’s Freestyle Wrestling (57kg, Open), she demonstrated remarkable adaptability and courage, securing a bronze medal against more experienced opponents.
