Memories Made on the NDP Stage
National Day Parade 2026

This was such a memorable experience, and I never would have thought I’d get the chance to participate in the National Day Parade (NDP) celebrations in such an amazing manner.
Being part of the Athlete Flags Relay team in Chapter 1, representing Singapore Sports School and Singapore as a Team Singapore athlete, was truly an honour. Hearing the thunderous cheers and roars from the audience was incredibly heartwarming. At the same time, performing and dancing on stage during Chapter 6 and hearing Singaporeans come together to sing with such amazing energy was truly fulfilling.
At the end of every show, all the athletes would come together to celebrate dancing, taking pictures, cheering, and coming together as one Singapore.
Making new friends with Team Singapore athletes and getting closer to the students in Sports School was such a pleasure. Every moment of the rehearsals and NE shows was serious but also an absolute blast. From talking and learning more about one another, to playing games and even running alongside our Team Singapore athletes. Getting the chance to see Singapore’s Mediacorp emcees up close was also such a memorable experience. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have been given this opportunity.
This experience has made me feel an even deeper sense of pride and love for Singapore. Seeing people from different backgrounds come together and celebrate as one reminded me of what it truly means to be Singaporean. I feel incredibly proud to be a Singaporean and call this place home.
