Each child may apply for a maximum of two different sports. If your child is applying for more than one sport, please submit the applications by the earlier cut-off date. Refer to the table below for the application timeline.

By July 2026Shortlisted P6s (Selection, engagement and interviews) There will be further engagement sessions conducted by Sports School for shortlisted applicants. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an admission interview. Successful applicants will be offered a place for the 2027 Secondary 1 intake and will be given instructions to attend medical screening.  
October 2026 on PSLE marking days

November 2026Successful P6 ApplicantsRelease of PSLE Results.  Participate in MOE’s Secondary 1 Posting Exercise so that you will be allocated a ‘posted school’. Should you need to exit Sports School due to extenuating circumstances, you will have a place in the ‘posted school’.  
December 2026
Successful P6 ApplicantsRelease of secondary school posting results.  On the next working day after the release of the posting results, P6s will report to their posted school and get the posted school’s endorsement to transfer to Sports School. Thereafter, they should send the endorsement to Sports School to complete the enrolment process.
