Information for Track and Field Selection (2027 Intake)

STAGES OF SELECTION RESULT
Shortlisted participants will be contacted by Fri, 8 May 2026
Phase 1: Fitness Assessment
  • Selection Criteria: Fitness and Anthropometric Assessment
  • Dates:
    • Sat 9 May 2026, 08:00h to 10:00h
  • Venue: Singapore Sports School Outdoor Track
  • Attire/What to bring: PE attire and track shoes and water bottle
  • Participants need only attend one session
Shortlisted participants will be contacted by Wed, 13 May 2026
Phase 2: Skills Assessment
  • Assessment Areas: Technical Skills
  • Dates: Sat 16 May 2026, 08:30h to 10:30h 
  • Venue: Singapore Sports School Outdoor Track
  • Attire/What to bring: PE attire and track shoes and water bottle
 Shortlisted participants will be contacted by Thu, 20 May 2026
Phase 3: Training Stint With Sports School Coaches
  • Dates: 2 - 5 June 2025, 08:00h to 10:00h (For at least 2 consecutive training sessions)
  • Attire/What to bring: PE attire and track shoes and water bottle
  • Venue: Singapore Sports School Outdoor Track
Shortlisted participants will be contacted by Fri, 26 2026
Phase 4: Interview
  • Period: July to July 2026
 Successful participants will be offered Direct School Admission to Singapore Sports School.

Note: Parents are advised to accompany their child for all sessions in the selection process.
