Information for Football Selection (2027 Intake)

STAGES OF SELECTION RESULT
Phase 1: Zonal Selection

Phase 1: Zonal Selection
  • Selection Criteria: Technical Assessment
  • Date and Time:
    • Tue, 14 April 2025, 19:00h – 21:00h – North and West Zone schools
    • Thu, 16 April 2025, 19:00h – 21:00h – East and South Zone schools
  • Venue: Singapore Sports School Football Field
  • Attire/What to bring: Primary School Smart Card, PE attire/football jersey, water bottle and football boots
  • If the child can not make it on the day of his own zone, you can select other date.
  • Students are required to arrive before 6:30pm for attendance taking and warm up 
  • Parents are advised to accompany their child during the selection
Shortlisted participants will be contacted. 
Phase 2: Identification
  • Date and Time : 21 April 2026, 19:00h – 21:00h
  • Venue: Singapore Sports School Football Field
  • Participants: Selected players from Phase 1
  • Attire/What to bring: PE attire/football jersey, water bottle and football boots
Shortlisted participants will be contacted.
 Phase 3: Training Stint With Sports School Coaches
  • Period: End of April 2026 (3 sessions, exact dates to be advised)
  • Time: To be advised
  • Venue: Singapore Sports School Football Field
  • Participants: Selected players from Phase 2
  • Attire/What to bring: PE attire/football jersey, water bottle and football boots
Shortlisted participants will be contacted.
Phase 4: Interview
  • Period: July 2026
 Successful participants will be offered Direct School Admission to Singapore Sports School.

Note: Parents are advised to accompany their child for all sessions in the selection process.
