National Day Celebrations
On 7 August 2026, our school community came together with friends from Woodlands Gardens School (WGS) to kick off our National Day celebrations in a truly meaningful way. This year's celebration marked the fourth year of our partnership, bringing our two school communities together in a vibrant display of unity, friendship, inclusion, and nationhood.
The morning began with our IBDP students joining their WGS friends for Character and Citizenship Education lessons, creating valuable opportunities for interaction and connection. The celebrations then moved to the auditorium, where the atmosphere was filled with music, laughter, and a strong sense of community.
Both our student-athletes and students from WGS took to the stage with a series of energetic performances. From dynamic dance showcases to spirited performances that highlighted the talents of both school communities, the programme was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and school spirit. The audience also joined in a heartfelt sing-along of our National Day favourites, united in celebrating our shared Singaporean identity.
A highlight of the programme was a special guest performance by Mr Clement Chow, better known as the Singapore Boy. His charismatic rendition of the iconic national day song Count on Me, Singapore, had the audience singing along, cheering enthusiastically, and waving proudly in celebration of the nation.
To cap off an unforgettable National Day celebration, 28 of our student-athletes proudly participated in the National Day Parade on 9 August, celebrating alongside Team Singapore athletes and fellow Singaporeans. It was a remarkable experience and a fitting way to honour Singapore's 61st birthday.
