Sabreurs And Epeeist Cadets Triumph On Asian Stage
Fencing: Asian Cadet Cup 2025 in Kuala Lumpur
Our fencers shone bright in Kuala Lumpur from 20 to 23 August 2025, making the points count on the piste at the Asian Cadet Cup 2025! Their amazing performance in this competition were rewarded with 3 silver and 4 bronze medals, and continues to raise the bar for Sports School fencers.
In the Men’s Sabre events, Ashton Auw fenced his way to a brilliant bronze in the individual category before teaming up with Cameron Alexander Tan Soliano, Mohamad Adam Mohamad Aidil, and Eleazar Quah to secure a silver in the team event.
Over in the Women’s Sabre events, Sarah Koh displayed incredible control and composure to claim silver in the individual category, while Sarah Sophia Tan added a bronze to her name. The two then joined forces with Natalie Tay and Hannah Isabella Muhammed Hafiz to clinch another team silver, proving that teamwork truly makes the dream work.
Our Epee fencers also made their mark, with the men’s team of Nicklaus Leow, Joden Sim, Aiden Sng, and Kitson Kok earning a well-deserved bronze. Meanwhile, the Women’s Epee team of Isabelle Lee, Valarie Kok, Sophie Dayana Tunstall, and Ember Jermaine Eswaran battled fiercely to capture a bronze as well.
