Game On At Pesta Sukan
Pesta Sukan 2025: Badminton, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Track and Field
Our student-athletes from Badminton, Table Tennis, Track and Field, and Taekwondo marked National Day in true sporting spirit, battling it out at the annual Pesta Sukan 2025 and bringing home a haul of spectacular wins.
On the badminton courts, Secondary 3 shuttlers Julian Tan Yi Kai and Daryl Leong delivered thrilling displays in the U17 Boys’ Singles. Julian powered through the competition to claim the champion’s title, while Daryl earned a well-deserved joint-bronze finish.
Over at the table tennis arena, our paddlers proved unstoppable, dominating the podium with a clean sweep in both the U15 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles. Isaiah Loh and Arissa Cheng smashed their way to the top, clinching first place in the Boys’ and Girls’ events respectively, while Sie Lay Yin added to the golden glory with her triumph in the U19 Girls’ Singles.
On the mats, taekwondo exponent Gwen Koh displayed power and confidence in the Poomsae Junior Female Black Belt Individual event. Her commanding performance saw her rise above the competition to claim the gold medal.
The action didn’t just stop there. Our Track and Field team went on an all-out medal hunt, bringing home an astounding 18 medals (7 gold, 5 silver, 6 bronze). Among the standout performances, Shannon Tan sprinted to double glory with gold in both the U18 Girls’ 100m and 200m. Chantel Tan Bao Hui, Kimmy Tay Yu Tong, Neo En Yu, Niq Rifdi Rafiqi Yusran, and Edsel Poh also blazed to golden finishes on the track.
