Visits by Jeollanam-do Provincial Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Shaanxi Provincial Swimming Centre from China and Senior Teachers from NIE’s Teachers Leaders Programme, and Sports Exchange with Incheon Sports Council
In August, Singapore Sports School hosted several international and local visitors who were keen to learn more about the school and experience the school’s offerings.

Officials from the Jeollanam-do Provincial Assembly of the Republic of Korea visited Sports School as they were keen to learn more about our integrated sports and academic model. They were particularly interested in the customised curriculum designed for student-athletes, our boarding environment and how our offerings contribute to student-athletes’ holistic development.
Another group from Korea, the Incheon Sports Council, had a more hands-on experience through a four-day sports exchange with the Fencing Academy. The visiting fencers stayed on campus, trained alongside our fencers across multiple sessions, and gained a deeper appreciation of Singapore through a cultural programme.

Sports School also hosted the Shaanxi Provincial Swimming Centre from China, who visited while in Singapore for the World Aquatics Championships. Among the delegation were Olympians and Chinese diving greats Qin Kai and He Zi, who toured the campus on 1 August 2025.

On 26 August 2025, senior teachers from the NIE Teachers Leaders Programme visited Sports School as part of their professional development journey. The visit opened up their minds as they were educated about the school’s unique processes and strategies, inspiring them to drive educational innovation in their own roles.
