Shooters Trigger Strong Performance on International Stage

Our shooters delivered a commendable showing at the Ten Nine Factory Cup, making their mark on the international stage with calm precision and fighting spirit. Over the competition held from 17 to 19 January 2026 in Austria, the team maximised every opportunity in their events and returned with an excellent 6-medal haul of 1 gold, 3 silvers, and 2 bronzes.

A standout highlight came from Quek Gek Ling, who produced a nail-biting finish in the 10m Air Pistol Women Junior. In a contest decided by the smallest of margins, she edged out her opponent by just 0.1 to clinch the gold medal, a true demonstration of focus, composure, and championship mentality.

Across the two days of competition, Bernice Lim and Lee Zhe Kai also showed strong depth and consistency with their double-medal performances. Bernice Lim took home a 10m Air Rifle Women Junior silver, while Zhe Kai earned a well-deserved third-place finish in the 10m Air Rifle Men Junior. The duo also demonstrated strong teamwork in the Mixed Junior event where they finished 2nd.
