O-utstanding Results, O-utstanding Grit!
O-Levels Results Release, Return of IBDP Student-Athletes
On 14 January 2026, eight student-athletes received their GCE O-Level results slips. It carried the weight of their hard work and determination. And when the results were revealed, they didn’t simply clear the finish line, they crossed it in style. The graduating Class of 2025 achieved a clean sweep with a 100% pass rate.
The resilience of student-athletes shines through in the story of fencer Kayla Por. For Kayla, her journey in sport shaped her character. She shared, “I had to be disciplined to turn up for training on time every day, make responsible decisions on how to use my weekends and free time, and be mindful of my diet choices. This has impacted every aspect of my life. It has helped me to be disciplined in whatever I set my mind on, whether in sports, academics, or even in my leadership roles as a student councillor.”
“I feel very grateful for the support given to me from my teachers and friends, and proud of myself that my hard work paid off,” said Kayla, who will be embarking on a new journey in the Arts stream at Eunoia Junior College.
Balancing sports and studies has not been an easy journey for water polo exponent Clarissa Tio too, and that journey has taught her the importance of time management. “There was stress, doubts, and a lot of late nights, but I am glad that all the effort paid off at the end of the day,” shared Clarissa, who will be pursuing a Diploma in Optometry at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
The same spirit of perseverance was evident earlier, on 2 January 2026, when the IBDP cohort that graduated in 2025 returned to campus. Although they received their results online on 18 December 2025, we held a homecoming to acknowledge and celebrate their achievements.
