Swimming: National School Games, Singapore National Open Water Swimming Championships (10km)
Our swimmers made waves of victory at the 2025 National School Games Swimming Championships, held from 21 to 25 April 2025. With determination, grit, and unstoppable momentum, our student-athletes brought home a whopping 35 medals (8 gold, 12 silver, 15 bronze), and achieved an impressive 38 new personal bests in their events. Their collective effort led them to an overall 3rd place in the ‘B’ and ‘C’ Boys’ and Girls’ Divisions, while the ‘A’ Division boys and girls were ranked overall 4th.
Among the gold medallists, Casey Chua shone in the Girls’ 13–14 50m and 100m Freestyle, striking gold in both events with new personal bests. In the ‘B’ Division, Julia Yeo Shu Ning and Joy Neo Ning Suan stole the spotlight, each claiming two golds in the Backstroke and Breaststroke events respectively.
Not to be outshone, Taka Leong Kin Rong surged to victory in the Boys’ 17 & Over 100m Breaststroke, and added a silver in the 200m event, while Heather Teo Jing Wen soared in the Girls’ 15–17 200m Butterfly, clinching gold, and also snatched bronze in the 100m Butterfly with a new personal best.
The excitement continued in the relay events, where our swimmers showcased strong camaraderie and coordination. In the ‘C’ Division, Arielle Neo, Elizabeth Xia Weiyi, Lee Zi Xuan, and Casey Chua joined forces to win two bronze medals in the 4x50m Freestyle and Medley Relays.
The ‘B’ Division girls also performed strongly. The team of Julia Yeo, Azlina Mastamam, Heather Teo, and Joy Neo swam their hearts out to secure silver in both the 4x50m Freestyle and Medley Relay events. Among the boys, Aaron Jonathan Ang, Caleb Chong, Zachary Chew Jing Hsuan, and Kidd Ang Shao Kai delivered a solid performance to earn silver in the 4x50m Freestyle Relay, while Zachary, Mikel Low, Kidd, and Aaron teamed up for bronze in the Medley Relay.

Meanwhile, at the Singapore National Open Water Swimming Championships (10km) 2025 held on 26 April 2025 at Changi Coast, alumni Artyom Lukasevits and Ritchie Oh and Luke Tan displayed grit and endurance. Artyom delivered an impressive performance to take first place, while alumni Ritchie Oh and Luke Tan followed closely to secure second and third positions respectively.
