Open House 2025

On 5 April 2025, we welcomed a record number of about 2,500 visitors for Open House 2025. The aim of the Open House is to enhance understanding of Singapore Sports School. To achieve this, the Open House featured talks by the Principal Ong Kim Soon, campus tours, sports engagement activities, information booths, and an academic showcase. The event received positive feedback for its engaging format, the professionalism of our student-athletes, and the opportunities it provided for visitors to learn more about the school.


It was a warm day, but the warmest thing was our welcome! Despite the heat, we made sure every visitor felt right at home from the moment they stepped onto campus.

Insights and inspiration by Principal Ong Kim Soon! He gave insightful talks to visitors, providing a deeper understanding of the school and information on admissions. During the session, wushu world champion Zeanne Law and Colleen Pee, a current Diploma in Business student-athlete and national bowler, shared their personal experiences and journeys at Sports School.


Let’s Take a Walk! Our student-athletes proudly served as personal guides, leading visitors on campus tours and sharing their own experiences along the way.

Primary school visitors had a blast interacting with our student-athletes and coaches through a variety of sports activities! They enjoyed trying out different sports - and those who participated in at least three activities could even redeem a special gift.

Buzzing with Information at The Arena! The Arena was alive with information booths where visitors could learn more about our programmes and student life. The Academic Showcase featured booths for the secondary programme, Applied Learning Programme, post-secondary programmes, and student development. Staff were also on hand to share details about admissions, the Individual Programme, and Boarding.

Beyond The Arena, visitors could also find information booths at every sports facility and at the Auditorium, making it easy to explore all aspects of Sports School.

To keep spirits high, our very own emcees and DJs played their favourite tunes, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere throughout the day.
