Blades Of Glory

Our fencers displayed true steel, skill, and strategy at the National School Games (NSG) Fencing Championships! Team Sports School clinched 11 medals and ranked among the top schools in the ‘A’ Division Girls’, and ‘B’ and ‘C’ Division Boys’ and Girls’ categories.

The NSG action started with our ‘C’ Division team on 15 and 16 April. They gained their experience on the piste, clinching 3 individual joint-bronze medals and finishing strong in 2nd place for the Overall School (Girls) and 3rd place for Overall School (Boys) category.

The momentum continued with the ‘B’ Division from 23 to 25 April. In the Girls’ Sabre event, Sarah Koh struck gold, while Sarah Sophia Tan secured bronze, delivering a double podium finish. In the Boys’ Sabre, Cameron Alexander Tan Soliano and Ashton Auw clinched silver and bronze respectively. Mirroring the ‘C’ Division’s results, the ‘B’ Division team also achieved 2nd place Overall (Girls) and 3rd place Overall (Boys).

Our seniors took to the piste at the Singapore Senior Nationals from 19 to 20 April 2025, delivering outstanding performances. Dan Wei Zuo led an all-Sports School podium in the Senior Men’s Sabre, joined by Marcus Maximilian Tan, Josiah Wei, and alumnus Chan Phu Xien.

It was another podium sweep in the Senior Men’s Épée, where alumnus Simon Lee lit up the piste with a stellar performance to clinch gold. He was joined on the podium by fellow alumni Tim Shee, Bron Sheum, and current student-athlete Cevin Sun, who secured the remaining top spots.
