SSP Invitational U15 and U18 2025
The SSP Invitational U15 and U18 2025, held on 31 May 2025, saw a strong turnout of youth athletes from across the region. Organised by Singapore Sports School, the event welcomed participants from Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Sports Schools, as well as top Track and Field schools and clubs in Singapore.
A total of 289 athletes competed in 370 events. The meet provided a valuable platform for competition exposure and performance benchmarking, particularly for developing athletes preparing for national or regional competitions.
Sports School athletes delivered several podium finishes across various age categories. In the Girls’ U15 category, Neha Sundar took 1st place in the 400m, while Chalene Tan Bao Ling secured 3rd in the same event and 2nd in Pole Vault. Elia Owen placed 2nd in the 100m. In the Shot Put (3kg), Evie Koh Qi En claimed 1st, followed by Zhou Yuhan (2nd) and Kyra-Mae Bianca Selvam (3rd). Chantel Tan Bao Hui also took 3rd in Pole Vault.
In the Women’s U18 division, Luisa Marie Vaz placed 2nd in the 100m. The 400m Hurdles saw Alexa Valera Defries and Naema Kyrana Abdullah finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. In Shot Put (3kg), Evelyn Seu Hoy Xuan and Jessie Tan Qian Chi took 2nd and 3rd.
In the Women’s Open category, Neo En Yu came in 2nd in the 400m, and Zara Almira Abdul Aziz took 2nd in Long Jump.
For the Boys’ U15 category, Keagan Lim Hao Wen earned two podium finishes – 2nd in the 400m Hurdles and 3rd in the 110m Hurdles. Nethanel Liew Zhe Xi took 3rd in Shot Put (4kg).
Among the Boys’ U18, Eshan Shayaan Ahmed Ridzwan was 3rd in the 100m, while Elessa Marc David and Mohammed Thamir Khairan Mohammed Faduli took 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 400m. Emre Rizq Mika Harris Mulyadi was 3rd in the 1500m, and Muhammad Reza Zool Ihsan placed 2nd in High Jump.
In the Men’s Open 400m event, Emir Muhammad Rashid finished 2nd among the competitors.

Johor Open Athletics Championships
Student-athletes from the Track and Field Academy went across the causeway where they impressed with their commendable performances at the Johor Track and Field Open 2025 from 28 to 29 June, returning with silver medals in both individual and relay events.
In the 3000m Steeplechase, distance runner Emre Rizq Mika Harris Mulyadi delivered a gritty effort to clinch 2nd place. Meanwhile, in the Mixed Relay, the team comprising Neo En Yu, Emir Muhammad Rashid, and Keenan Brunkard and alumna Erza Irdina Abdul Latiff secured another 2nd-place finish. The quartet worked seamlessly across their legs, showing strong baton transitions and pacing to edge out several strong teams.
