20th Singapore National Swimming Championships 2025
Our past and present swimmers made an unforgettable splash at the 20th Singapore National Swimming Championships 2025. Held on home ground from 31 May to 3 June 2025, the four thrilling days of intense competition saw our athletes deliver outstanding performances.
Among the standout performers was Julia Yeo, who had a sensational meet, collecting a string of qualifying times for international events. She met the World Aquatics Junior C-cut, the Asian Youth Games (AYG) A-cut, and the SEA Games B-cut in the 200m Backstroke, and also achieved the AYG B-cut in the 100m Backstroke, affirming her strength in the discipline. Julia went on to win a silver medal in the 400m Individual Medley, clocking the wild card cut timing in the process. She capped off her campaign with a bronze medal in the 200m Individual Medley, where she also achieved both the AYG B-cut and the World Junior wild card cut.
Joining her in the spotlight, Joy Neo delivered stellar performances in the Breaststroke events. She won a bronze medal in the Women’s 200m Breaststroke and impressively achieved AYG A-cuts in both the 100m and 200m Breaststroke, a clear reflection of her power and refined technique.
Heather Teo also made waves, earning the AYG B-cut in the 200m Butterfly, while Isabel Lim, who trains under NTC@SSP, impressed with a strong swim that earned her the AYG B-cut in the 200m Breaststroke.
Our alumni were equally outstanding. Maximillian Ang maintained his dominant form in the Men’s 100m and 200m Breaststroke, taking home gold medals in both events. Artyom Lukasevits triumphed in the Men’s 1500m Freestyle, securing first place, while Amanda Lim, a freestyle specialist, sprinted to the top of the podium in the Women’s 50m Freestyle.
Adding to the medal tally, Ian Leong, a Year 2 student-athlete in the Diploma in Business programme, claimed a well-deserved gold medal in the Men’s 400m Freestyle, showcasing the rising talent among our current student-athletes.
In total, our swimmers clinched an impressive 15 medals (5 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze) along with numerous personal bests. These achievements are a testament to their athletic excellence, unwavering determination, and strong team spirit.
