Striking Up Smiles VIA Bowling

Values in Action: Bowling Academy

Our bowlers recently took to the lanes for a meaningful Values in Action programme that combined sport, mentorship, and community engagement. In collaboration with North West Community Development Council, they hosted an energetic bowling session for students from Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School on 24 April 2026.

Throughout the session, our bowlers stepped up as dedicated mentors, patiently guiding the children through the fundamentals of bowling. From learning proper stance and grip to understanding aiming techniques, the students were encouraged to try, improve, and celebrate their progress. The supportive environment helped build their confidence, not only in bowling but also in interacting with others and taking on new challenges.

The session featured several interactive highlights, including a lively “Bowling Quiz” that reinforced the skills taught during the programme. Another crowd favourite was the high-energy “Lights Out” bowling experience, which added excitement and created many memorable moments.

Beyond the sport, the heart of the project was the genuine connections formed between our bowlers and the children. Every child left the session with new skills, a sense of achievement, and, most importantly, a lasting smile from an unforgettable experience.
