University and Scholarship Fair

Held on 10 July 2026, the University and Scholarship Fair engaged post-secondary student-athletes from Singapore Sports School, carded student-athletes from other institutions, and parents, providing them with invaluable information to help students make the next step in their educational journey.
The fair featured booths from six local autonomous universities (AUs), nine overseas universities from the UK and Australia, and representatives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore-Industry Scholarship and French Embassy. The interactive booths helped answer student-athletes’ specific questions, allowing them to explore various options and make informed decisions towards their future.
There was also a panel discussion with the six local AUs, allowing student-athletes and parents to gain deep insights into each AU’s initiatives to support high performance student-athletes in balancing their educational and sporting commitments.
Personally, the fair gave me greater clarity about the different educational pathways available. Learning about the scholarships offered and the support systems provided by universities for high performance student-athletes reassured me that it is possible to pursue both my academic and sporting goals. At the government-sector booths, I learnt about the scholarships and bonds available to support my university education. These opportunities reassured me that I could pursue my desired degree, while also having a clear career pathway after graduation and contributing to my country.
Overall, the University and Scholarship Fair was extremely informative and played a significant role in my decision towards my future education and career pathways.
