Thai-ing Up 15 Medals!

Track and Field: Thailand Sports School Games, Selangor Junior Athletics Championships 2026

27th Thailand Sports School Games


The Track and Field Academy delivered an outstanding performance at the 27th Thailand Sports School Games in Nakhon Sawan Province held from 15 to 24 July 2026. They returned home with an impressive haul of 15 medals comprising 5 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze.

The 35-member contingent demonstrated resilience, determination and competitive excellence across a range of track and field events.

Leading the medal tally was Secondary 4 student-athlete Muhammad Reza Zool Ihsan, who enjoyed a stellar campaign with two gold medals and a bronze. He leapt to a new championship record to win the Boys' Under-16 Triple Jump title before adding a second gold in the Long Jump. Reza also played a key role in the Boys' Under-16 4 × 100m Relay team, which secured a bronze medal.

Chantel Tan Bao Hui also etched her name in the record book in the Girls' Under-14 Pole Vault. Evelyn Seu Hoy Xuan captured gold in the Girls' Under-16 Triple Jump and Wilson Shen Kai Tan cleared the field to win the Boys' Under-16 High Jump.

The team continued its strong showing with 6 silver medals. Chlista Low Yi Xuan finished runner-up in the Girls' Under-14 Pole Vault, while Kienan Tee Kaliyapan claimed silver in the Boys' Under-14 Pentathlon. Samuel Hua Yi Lee sprinted to 2nd place in the Boys' Under-14 100m, Lavelle Rui En Tan secured silver in the Girls' Under-16 Triple Jump, and Megan Chng Shu Ting added another podium finish in the Girls' Under-16 100m Hurdles. The Girls' Under-16 4 × 100m Relay quartet of Aura Ramadhania Muhammad Nizar, Elia Owen, Megan Chng Shu Ting and Neha Sundar also earned silver after a strong team performance.

4 bronze medals rounded off the successful campaign. Chlista Low Yi Xuan added a second medal in the Girls' Under-14 Pentathlon, while Keagan Lim Hao Wen and Nethanel Zhe Xi Liew finished 3rd in the Boys' Under-16 Pole Vault and Discus Throw respectively. The Boys' Under-16 4 × 100m Relay team of Eshan Shayaan Ahmed Ridzwan, Ethan Roman, Muhammad Reza Zool Ihsan and Mohammed Thamir Khairan Mohammed Faduli completed the medal tally with bronze.

The Under-16 Boys' Team earned an overall 3rd place after finishing strongly in several events.

Selangor Junior Athletics Championships 2026


Post-secondary student-athletes delivered a strong showing at the Selangor Athletics Championships 2026 from 17 to 19 July 2026. Emir Muhammad Rashid sprinted to gold in the Men’s 200m event, while Veroy Chua Jia Hao cleared his way to bronze in the 400m Hurdles.
