Singing a Shared Rhythm in Racial Harmony

Racial Harmony Day

On 20 July 2026, our School Auditorium was transformed into a lively hub of song, laughter, and storytelling as student-athletes and staff gathered to commemorate Racial Harmony Day. The annual celebration served as a meaningful occasion to reflect on Singapore’s multicultural fabric and the continuous efforts required to nurture mutual respect, empathy, and social cohesion within our diverse school community and beyond.

The highlight of the event was a vibrant musical skit titled “Let us Sing Together – Fostering Understanding for Racial Harmony,” thoughtfully presented by the Singapore Kindness Movement. Captivating the audience from the very first beat, the energetic performance combined catchy melodies, lively theatrical moments, and expressive characters that kept everyone thoroughly enthralled from start to finish.

Through a clever mix of relatable, everyday scenarios, the skit encouraged student-athletes to look past individual differences, celebrate distinct cultural backgrounds, and practice active empathy in their daily interactions. By highlighting how small acts of consideration and thoughtful communication can bridge divides, the performance inspired all our student-athletes to actively contribute toward a compassionate, supportive environment.
