Staff Day Celebrations


Behind every student-athlete who trains hard, steps into competition and strives for excellence is a Kampung of people cheering them on and supporting them in their journey.

At the Staff Day celebration, the spotlight turned to the Kampung of coaches, teachers, boarding mentors, corporate staff and the school's unsung heroes, as we recognised the many individuals who play a part in helping our student-athletes learn, train, grow and thrive.

The celebration began with a splash of colour as staff embraced the kampung-inspired theme, swapping their usual work attire for vibrant Kampung outfits. The skits and videos, put together by student leaders, were a meaningful opportunity for them to express gratitude to those who support them every day.

A particularly meaningful segment was recognising the school's unsung heroes. Staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the campus clean, safe and welcoming were honoured with tokens of appreciation for their invaluable contributions. While their efforts may often go unnoticed, their work plays a vital role in creating a conducive environment where student-athletes can focus on learning, training and achieving their goals.

The camaraderie then spilled onto the basketball court, where student teams went up against staff teams for the first time. With plenty of cheers, laughter and team spirit, the game was a fitting way to bring the celebration to a close. The celebrations were a good reminder that behind every student-athlete is a kampung that grows, supports and celebrates together.
