45th National Pencak Silat Championships 2026


Our student-athletes delivered exceptional performances at the 45th National Pencak Silat Championships 2026, showcasing their skill, resilience, and determination on the national stage. Competing against some of the best young talents from across the country, our athletes brought home a total of 16 medals — 11 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.

Leading the charge was Secondary 1 student-athlete Putri Zara Herlisya Harrywanto, who had a remarkable championship, winning three gold medals in the Pre-Junior Artistic Tunggal, Pre-Junior Artistic Solo Creative, and Pre-Junior Match D categories. Her outstanding performances earned her the prestigious Pre-Junior Best Athlete award. Putri Zara’s achievement highlights not only her individual talent but also the strong foundation and training provided by our pencak silat programme.

Joining her in the spotlight was Mohd Zafri Noufal Mohd Zulfakar, who captured gold in the Pre-Junior Artistic Tunggal category. The pair also contributed to securing the Overall Pre-Junior Artistic Champion title.

Several other student-athletes achieved gold in their respective categories, including Miyah Nahilah Ahmad Fahmi in Junior Female A Match, Sofea Aqilah Adha Mohd Afith in Junior Female Match C, Muhammad Feeqry Muhd Faizal in Junior Male Match A, Muhammad Aniq Farish Roslan in Junior Male Match B, Muhammad Fiqh Firdaus in Junior Male Match D, Muhammad Naufal Abdullah in Senior Male Match D, and Danial Hariz Rizal in Senior Male Match F.
