Juliet Heng Jie Min
Fencing, Diploma in Business Studies (SSP-NP)
In 2025, Juliet Heng delivered an exceptional year of performances on the international stage.
At the Asian Fencing Championships 2025, she achieved a historic silver medal in the Women’s Sabre individual event — one of Singapore’s strongest showings in the discipline. She continued her impressive form at the SEA Games 2025, capturing gold in the Women’s Sabre individual event and adding a silver medal in the Women’s Sabre team event. Later in the year, she secured a bronze medal at the Istanbul Satellite in October 2025, further underlining her consistency at the international level.
Domestically, Juliet remains the top-ranked fencer in her weapon group. She claimed silver at the Singapore Open, followed by gold medal finishes at the Singapore Senior Trials I and the Singapore Senior Cup, and added a bronze medal at the Singapore Senior National Championships.
Juliet’s journey began when she was introduced to fencing through MOE’s Junior Sports Academy (JSA). She later joined Sports School’s Learn-to-Fence programme, where her potential was identified and nurtured. After enrolling in Sports School in Secondary 1, she went on to claim her first SEA Games gold medal in 2023 as a debutant — just seven years after taking up the sport.
Her long-term goal is to represent Singapore at the Olympic Games.
Beyond her sporting achievements, Juliet has maintained strong academic performance, attaining a commendable Grade Point Average in the through-train Diploma in Business Studies programme jointly offered with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, while balancing the demands of high-performance sport.

Izaac Quek Yong
Table Tennis, Diploma in Business Studies (SSP-NP)
Paddler Izaac Quek Yong, who represented Singapore at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, continued to scale new heights in 2025.
At the SEA Games 2025, he successfully retained the three gold medals — Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles and Men’s Team — that he first captured at his debut SEA Games in 2023, reaffirming his dominance in the region.
On the professional circuit, Izaac secured silver medals in the Men’s Doubles at both the WTT Star Contender Muscat 2025 and the WTT Feeder Otocec 2025, demonstrating his competitiveness against strong international fields.
Beyond podium finishes, he achieved several historic milestones in 2025. He became part of the first Singaporean pair to advance to the semi-finals of a WTT Grand Smash event at the Europe Smash — a significant breakthrough for Singapore table tennis. He was also the first locally born player to receive an invitation to compete in the highly competitive China Table Tennis Super League.
At the youth level, he continued contributing to Singapore’s success at the SEA Youth Championships 2025, securing gold in the U19 Boys’ Team event.
In February 2026, Izaac and his men’s doubles partner, alumnus Koen Pang reached a career high World No. 4 ranking.
Izaac first made headlines at the age of 14 when he was crowned U15 World Junior No.1. Since then, he has continued to break new ground and now sets his sights on representing Singapore at his second Olympic Games in 2028.
