Graduation Ceremony 2025

On 29 September 2025, 106 graduands stood tall at the school auditorium, celebrating the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting new journey. Among them were 78 student-athletes from the Secondary Programme and 28 from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), each with a story of resilience, growth, and triumph.

Guest-of-Honour Chris Hwang, former national bowler and co-founder of The Golden Duck, delivered an uplifting address. Sharing personal stories of overcoming challenges, he spoke about how grit and resilience shaped his journey. He urged our graduands to face challenges with courage and to seize the limitless opportunities that lie ahead.

Principal Ong Kim Soon reflected on the cohort’s strength in adversity, recalling how they rose above the disruptions of COVID-19, particularly the IBDP cohort, which adapted to new ways of learning and training. He urged the Class of 2025 to carry that same resilience forward as champions in sport, for sports, and in life.

Valedictorians Javier Ng (Water Polo) and Janelle Yeo (Artistic Gymnastics) represented the Secondary and IBDP cohorts, respectively, with heartfelt speeches. They looked back on their journeys at Sports School and expressed deep gratitude to mentors, teammates, and loved ones who had guided them through their journey.

The ceremony also celebrated excellence through the presentation of Character and Academic Awards. Laughter and nostalgia filled the hall as student-athletes watched video montages, reliving treasured memories of their years at Sports School.

To the Class of 2025: Congratulations on your graduation! May you carry your spirit of determination and passion into every arena of life. Onwards to your next mission!
