Artistic Gymnastics World Junior Championships
After a disappointing outing at the Asian Championships in June, coupled with the challenge of recovering from ankle surgery and a back injury, Jovi refused to let his junior career end on a low note. Demonstrating resilience and determination, the 17-year-old delivered a stunning performance on 20 November 2025, finishing 22nd out of more than 120 competitors in the Individual All-Around qualifiers. His score of 75.698 was enough to secure him a coveted place in the final.
Reflecting on his achievement, Jovi credited his milestone achievement to dedicated rehabilitation, consistent training, and the unwavering support of his family, coaches, and teammates. “I feel proud of myself for making history and look to make even bigger ones in the future,” he said.
In addition to his individual success, Jovi was part of a strong trio alongside Secondary 4 student-athlete Xavier Pang Sheng Wei. Together, they delivered a composed and competitive performance in the Men’s Artistic Gymnastics team event, helping Singapore secure a respectable 15th-place finish.
Jovi Loh’s historic qualification marks a significant step forward for Singapore gymnastics, inspiring a new generation of athletes to dream bigger and reach higher on the world stage.
