Fencing: European U14 & Cadet Circuit: Sofia (Svechnikov Cup), FIE Junior World Cup: Hammamet

Our Singapore Men’s Sabre Team brought home a silver medal at the European U14 & Cadet Circuit: Sofia (Svechnikov Cup) in Bulgaria. The team — Ashton Auw Sen Hon, Cameron Alexander Tan Soliano, and Kai Seah Rajentheran, and their teammate Benjamin Koh from Absolute Fencing — delivered an outstanding run, defeating Türkiye, Spain, Germany, and Bulgaria to secure their place in the finals. In a thrilling and hard-fought final match, they narrowly lost 44–45 to Greece, earning a proud second-place finish.

Adding to the team’s success, Secondary 1 fencer Kai Seah Rajentheran clinched an individual bronze medal in the Under-14 category at his first competition on the European Circuit.

Ashton Auw Sen Hon from Secondary 4 also lunged to a silver medal in the Cadet Men’s Sabre event at the FIE Junior World Cup: Hammamet in Tunisia on 27 November 2025. He won his semi-finals bout against a Russian to secure his spot in the finals.
