Paddlers Deliver Podium Sweeps at Local Tournaments

Table Tennis: Dr Lee Bee Wah Cup – STTA Table Tennis Championships, 28th Char Yong National Youth Top 10 Table Tennis Tournament


Our paddlers enjoyed a rewarding run of performances at the Dr Lee Bee Wah Cup – STTA Table Tennis Championships, held from 23 to 30 November 2025, showcasing both consistency and composure across the age groups.

In the Under-15 Girls’ Singles, Sonia Zainudeen emerged champion after a strong series of matches, while Angeline Lim and Chevelle See also put in commendable performances to finish joint-third. The U15 boys delivered an outstanding showing, sweeping the entire podium as Benaiah Seah, Tristen Yee, Rio Lai and Zane Ong claimed medals of every colour.


The momentum continued in the U19 events. Joeunn Seow secured a well-earned 2nd place in the girls’ category, while Jayden Tan and Matthew Ellis performed strongly in the boys’ Singles to finish first and joint-third respectively.

This positive run carried into the 28th Char Yong National Youth Top 10 Table Tennis Tournament, held from 9 to 13 December 2025. Our paddlers demonstrated exceptional effort, sweeping all four titles across the U15 and U19 categories. Benaiah Seah and Sonia Zainudeen claimed top honours in the U15 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles events, while Nicholas Tan and Rhiannon Tey emerged champions in the U19 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles.

To cap off the domination, the U15 Boys completed a full medal haul, once again securing medals of every colour. These results reflected the paddlers’ steady progress, discipline and commitment to excellence.
