Top Prizes For Video Contest
Racial Harmony 1-minute Video Contest 2023
New talents were discovered as our student-athletes won a Racial Harmony 1-minute Video Contest 2023. Secondary 3 paddler Sie Lay Yin won the 1st prize worth $1000 of vouchers, and Annabelle Ong Nhat Anh Thu, Lee En Qi, Isabelle Lee Ern Swan and Sarah Koh Ya Qi won the 3rd prize worth $300. They received their prizes on 24 January 2024 from Admiralty Harmony Circle who organised the contest to promote racial harmony.
First prize winner, Sie Lay Yin, shared, “I did not think that I would place in the top three for the contest. It was definitely an eye-opening event for me. I really enjoyed choosing the background of the video and coming up with the storyline. To add on, I discovered that I actually enjoyed the video and editing processes as I could discover different styles and fonts, and it gave me a chance to improve my editing skills.”
