“Though duathlon is not my main event as I come from a swimming background, I managed to put in my best effort to clinch 2nd place in my category, narrowly missing first place by 18s. This event is a good stepping stone towards a bigger event in Hong Kong next week and puts me in a great headspace for the coming event,” shared Janel on her second-place finish.

Janel and Sean also participated in the 2023 Asia Triathlon Cup in Hong Kong on 25 February 2023, where they gained good experience competing against international triathletes.
