National shooters Fernel Tan Qian Ni and Martina Lindsay P Veloso missed out on a slim 2 points and clinched a silver medal in the Indonesian leg of the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup Women’s Air Rifle Team event on 31 January 2023 in Jakarta.
Alumna Fernel and alumna Martina were part of a trio who missed out on the gold medal in the finals against Kazakhstan. The trio had topped the first-stage qualifiers with 943.1 points before qualifying for the final after placing second with 622.7 points in qualification stage 2. Keep flying our Singapore flag high, Fernel and Martina!

In the recent NUS Invitational Shoot held from 19 to 22 February 2023, our shooters had an outstanding performance, achieving podium finishes for almost every category! They maintained their cool and persevered till the end, clinching a total of 7 individual trophies and 8 team medals! Not only that, our shooters were also awarded the Overall Pistol Winner and Overall Rifle Winner for School category. Congratulations, and well done shooters!
