Past vs Present Games 2023
Familiar faces from yesteryears brought along smiles, warm hugs, and multiple high-fives on a bright, cheery Saturday morning. This year’s Past and Present Games was held on 19 August 2023 and our past student-athletes played in various games against current student-athletes. The years may have passed by but the love for competition was as fresh as the day they stepped in Sports School. Let’s catch up on some of the action from the event!
We had a hard time distinguishing who the alumni shuttlers were. It seems like none of them has aged! The finesse is still there!
The bowling alley was filled with cheer and lively spirit of the bowling community was clearly present among the past and present student-athletes. We are still figuring out who has the best bowling pose.
Our trackers enjoyed a fast-paced captain’s ball game. It was a test of stamina for some but an enjoyable time, nevertheless.
Once the masks are on, it was game on for our fencers. En Garde!
The younger student-athletes might have a little more stamina to outrun our alumni footballers, but that did not stop the experience of the alumni from showing. The passes, stepovers and goals… wow!
It felt like they did not leave the school at all. Our netball ladies showing the young ones how to score and have fun at the same time.
The table tennis academy is home to many talents. Always great to see those who pass through this hall again and share their love for the game with the junior paddlers.
It has been a blast seeing all of you again! Thank you for making time to come back and share these precious moments with us. Congratulations to the alumni team for being crowned this year’s champions. We can’t wait to see you again at the next 20th anniversary edition of the Past vs Present games!
