e-Open House 2023
A crowd of more than 500 attendees gathered virtually at the School’s e-Open House on 15 April 2023. As part of the e-Open House programme, they attended a webinar where Principal Ong Kim Soon shared about the School and how our athlete-friendly programmes support student-athletes in balancing sports and studies. Mr Joshua Sing (Assistant Director, Boarding and Business) also addressed parents’ concerns on boarding by sharing how the School provides a safe and conducive boarding environment for our student-athletes.
Our alumni Reuben Rainer Lee Siong En (Track and Field) and Wong Xin Ru (Table Tennis) also shared their Sports School experience, and how the School has shaped them into champions in sport and in life. The webinar concluded with a Question and Answer session where our panellists, consisting of Principal Ong Kim Soon, Ms Tan Bee Lian (Director, Sports), Dr Irwin Seet (Director, Student Development), Ms Lynn Quek (Assistant Principal, Secondary and Planning), Mr Joshua Sing Chye Phong (Assistant Director, Boarding and Business), Dr Low Chee Yong (Deputy Director, National Youth Sports Institute), answered some of the questions raised by the attendees.
The e-Open House programme continued with a live chat where parents were able to have their queries answered immediately by staff.
