Golden Dives
National Diving Championships
Singapore Sports School’s past and present student-athletes put up golden performances at the National Diving Championships held from September 1 to 3 2023, at the OCBC Aquatic Centre. All four current student-athletes who participated in the Championships returned with at least one gold medal to their names in their respective events.
The National Diving Championships was a preparation platform for Asian Games debutant, Max Lee Shen Oon, who plunged to a gold-medal win. Secondary 1 diver Tyler Lee See Oon also impressed with perfect dives which won him 2 gold medals. IBDP student-athletes Yim Shek Yen and Clara Liaw Yanwen finished with 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal each.
It was also a good outing for past student-athletes Avvir Tham, Fong Kay Yian and Joel Chiew, who also secured medals.
Past and present student-athletes collected a total of 14 medals from the national competition.
