Football - Puma Youth Champions League

Our footballers had quite a spectacular victory at the Puma Youth Champions League. The boys desperately needed a win to leapfrog their opponents to the first position as they were placed third coming into the final match.

The team was down 1-0 when Shahfrel Ariel Shahrul Nizam scored a beautiful goal to equalise to 1-1. Their never-give-up attitude and good teamwork paid off as Azeem Hassan Mohammed Ibrahim equalised the score to 2-2 just 3 minutes before the final whistle. Andy Reefqy Muhammad Hasyim stepped up to the challenge and clutched the game for our boys. The intense and thrilling match ended shortly afterwards with our Under-14 boys being crowned champions.

The team has bagged a hat trick of trophies since the start of the year. Before winning the Under-14 Puma Youth Champions League title, they also won the JSSL7s and National School Games ‘B’ Division titles.
