Golf: Kepri Amateur Open Golf Tournament and Porche Singapore Classic

Secondary 2 golfer Passion Hsu Le Ting finished with the joint 2nd position at the Kepri Amateur Golf Tournament. The competition was held in Batam, Indonesia from 21 to 25 February 2024.

In addition, alumnus Nicklaus Chiam and Irvyn Tan, a second-year Diploma in Business student-athlete, claimed spots for the qualifying tournament for the Porche Singapore Classic held on 27 February 2024 at Laguna Golf & Country Club. In an interview with The Straits Times, Irvyn shared, “I’m definitely hoping to make the cut for this event. It’ll be something very special for me to be the top amateur at this event.”

Sailing: 43rd Singapore Open Windsurfing & Foiling Championship

From 22 to 25 February, Elkan Reshawn Oh sailed to the top position in the Men’s Division of the 43rd Singapore Open Windsurfing & Foiling Championship at Aloha Sea Sports Centre. Elkan outperformed 6 competitors from 3 different countries to win the gold medal in the competition.

Triathlon: Asia Triathlon Cup

Triathlete Lim Cheng Yu had a fruitful outing to the Asia Triathlon Cup in Putrajaya, Malaysia, as he finished 1st among regional competitors in the Men’s 16-19 years old Aquathlon category. Reyes Loh Shao En, a IBDP Year 5 student-athlete from the Swimming Academy, also impressed by finishing 3rd. Lim Wan Ting, who took part in the Elite Women’s category, came in 10th among formidable competitors.
