Sharifah Awarded For Poster Design Against Scam
Woodlands Police Division Crime Prevention Advisory Poster Design Competition 2023
Sharifah Falisha Syed Ahmed Riadh, a IBDP Year 6 student-athlete in the Track and Field Academy, was presented the Merit Award on 26 February 2024 for her outstanding poster design that she submitted for the Woodlands Police Division Crime Prevention Advisory (CPA) Poster Design Competition 2023.
Themed ‘Youth-nited against crime’, it was the fifth poster design competition organised by the Woodlands Police Division. It aims to raise awareness among secondary school students about youth-related crimes and encourage them to take a stand against scams.
The competition brought together talented young minds from various secondary schools to creatively address and tackle the growing issue of scams.
Beyond a personal achievement, this award is also a celebration of the school's dedication to nurture well-rounded individuals with a keen sense of social responsibility.
