Student-Athletes Win ROAR Awards For Stepping Up

See things that need to be done during an event? Not part of the organising committee? No sweat! Voluntarism knows no bounds and volunteering their time and effort during two separate school events are Secondary 4 student-athletes Marsya Syazwani Mohd Adzhar and Laavinia Jaiganth.

Marsya saw that the organising committee needed help to put up decorations for Youth Day Celebrations and was more than happy to help out. She even volunteered to help guide the school mascot during the actual event. Laavinia, on the other hand, volunteered to manage the IT console and microphone systems at the School auditorium during the Student Leaders’ Investiture. She carried out her role flawlessly, contributing immensely to the success of the event.

For their exemplary attitude and service, Marsya and Laavinia were the recipients of the ROAR Award for July. The ROAR Awards are presented on a monthly basis to exemplary student-athletes who exhibit the school values of Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence and Resilience.
