Triathlete Nicholas All Geared Up For Sea Games

Malaysia SEA Games Mixed Relay Duathlon Selection Trials and Malaysia SEA Games Triathlon National Trials

On 2 June 2019, triathlete Nicholas Rachmadi inched one step closer to his Southeast Asian Games (SEA) dream when he was first to cross the finish line in the duathlon race at Singapore’s mixed relay trials for the Philippines 2019 SEA Games. With his eyes fixed on the prize, the Singapore Sports School International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Year 6 student-athlete continues to push his boundaries so as to ensure that he is well-prepared and in top form for his Major Games debut.

With less than four months to the SEA Games, Nicholas, who is also the Chairman of the Council of School Captains, continues to go from strength to strength. Competing at two of Malaysia’s trials for the SEA Games - Triathlon National Trials on 13 July and Mixed Relay Duathlon Selection Trials from 22 to 23 July, Nicholas outperformed his rivals to emerge as the winner at both competitions.
