Perfect 10 In U21

2019 National Age Group


Ten golds in 10 events were swept up by Singapore Sports School Bowling Academy student-athletes and alumni in the Under 21 category of the 2019 National Age Group from 16 to 23 March 2019.

Sports School bowlers were amongst the top 3 in every event in the Under 15, 18 and 21 age-groups, winning a total of 51 medals – 19 gold, 22 silver and 10 bronze – across 30 events. Twenty-four student-athletes and alumni were multiple medallists, including alumna Iliya Syamim Muhammad Azni who emerged best performer with 4 gold and 1 bronze medals.

Student-athletes and alumni swept clean medals in the Boys and Girls U21 All-Events, and Girls U21 Masters.

Secondary 3’s Althea Dang Thanh Ly also shone at the tournament, taking home 2 golds, 4 silvers and 1 bronze from U15 and U18 events.
