Pre-Sports School Programmes

The Fencing Academy organises the Learn-To-Fence (LTF) Programme throughout the year for interested primary 3 to 6 Singaporeans who are good movers, quick thinkers, go-getters and fearless . The LTF is designed and conducted by Sports School coaches. Participants with potential are identified and are invited to attend weekly training sessions. Talented fencers from the LTF may be invited to join the Sports School at Secondary 1. 

Programme Details:

• 2 sessions a week
• Wed 19:00 - 21:00 & Fri 19:00 - 21:00 or
• Wed 19:00 - 21:00 & Sat 09:30 - 11:30
• Cost: $250/quarter (approx. 20 lessons/quarter)
• FREE for students on MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)

Designed for Primary 6 students who are currently playing netball, this programme offers a valuable opportunity to experience structured training in a high-performance sporting environment. Conducted once a week over five Saturdays, participants will sharpen their technical skills, improve game understanding, and develop confidence on court under the guidance of experienced coaches.

The Shooting Academy delivers a comprehensive Learn-To-Shoot (LTS) Programme with the intention of introducing Primary 5 and 6 Singaporeans to the sport, with the aim of inviting them to join the Academy in Secondary 1 for further development. Participants are introduced to simple and modified shooting techniques suitable for young children who are new to the sport through a systemised curriculum.

• Course 5 (9 Jun, 11 Jun, 13 Jun, 16 Jun, 18 Jun, 20 Jun): 1.00pm – 3.00pm
• Course 6 (9 Jun, 11 Jun, 13 Jun, 16 Jun, 18 Jun, 20 Jun ): 3.30pm – 5.30pm
• Course 7 (22 Aug, 29 Aug, 5 Sep, 8 Sep, 10 Sep, 12 Sep): 1.00pm – 3.00pm
• Course 8 (22 Aug, 29 Aug, 5 Sep, 8 Sep, 10 Sep, 12 Sep): 3.30pm – 5.30pm

• Venue: Singapore Sports School Shooting Range, Level 5

Cost: $240 per pax

FREE for students on MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
