National School Games - ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ Division, 2024 Australian Age Group Swimming Championships

The National School Games Swimming Championships showcased an impressive demonstration of talent and determination from our swimmers across the 'A', 'B', and 'C' Divisions. Over the competition held from 22 to 26 April 2024, our swimmers took home a whopping medal haul of 12 gold, 12 silver, 19 bronze medals, and 6 commendable 4th-place finishes.

In the ‘A’ Division, Elle Nicole Tay Jiaqi and Trina Ling Sze Yi made a splash in the pool, each securing three gold medals in their respective events. Elle dominated the Girls’ 200m Breaststroke, 200m Individual Medley, and Medley Relay, while Trina claimed top honours in the 50m and 100m Butterfly events, along with the Medley Relay. Additionally, Trina earned a silver in the Freestyle Relay, partnering with schoolmates Elle, Stephanie Clarrisa Kwa, and Lim Wan Ting. On her experience at the NSG, Elle shared: “This is my last NSG, and I really enjoyed myself, especially the camaraderie with my teammates during the relays. The Sports School supporters and their tireless cheers really spurred us to do our best. It was a close fight with our competitors and coming out top for the Medley Relay was the icing on the cake.”
