Alumnus Jazreel Tan has added another prestigious award to her ever growing list of accomplishments - this time, for being named "2011 Female Amateur Bowler of the Year" by the Bowling Writers' Association of America.

There are more than 30 million amateur bowlers in America who were eligible for this award and Jazreel's selection means that she is the first non-American to win this award since it was introduced in 1991.

Jazreel was also named the BWAA Collegiate Female Bowler of the Year and selected as the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association All-American Most Valuable Player and First Team All-American.

Jazreel's dominance on the bowling lanes is also reflected by her performance in the classroom. She was recently named Academic All-American for the third consecutive year, scoring Grade Point Average of 3.5 out of 4.0, or better, on all course work.
