97 Win Zone, 51 National Colours Award

Singapore Sports School student-athletes won a total of 97 Zone and 51 National Awards at the 41st Singapore Schools Sports Council National Colours Award on 28 September 2011.
 
Bowler Tracy See, footballer Mohamad Hanafi Mohd Akbar and golfer Marc Ong were awarded Best Athlete (Individual) in their respective sports alumnus Isabelle Li was also awarded Best Athlete (Individual) for Table Tennis. To top it off, alumnus Rachel Lee, a Gold medallist in Sailing at last year's Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, was named Overall Best School Girl.
 
As only a representative was invited to receive the Awards on behalf of the 97 winners, Singapore Sports School held its own presentation ceremony on 29 September. School Board Member, Mr Stanley Tan, who had competed in two Olympic games, presented the Awards during Assembly.
 
The School also received 24 Team Awards for finishing in the top four positions at Zone and National competitions. For the record, Singapore Sports School finished the National Schools Games with 10 North Zone titles and nine National Championship titles.
