8 Presented With Dream 2012 Award

Eight alumni were presented with the Lord Sebastian Coe-British Chamber of Commerce Dream 2012 Award on 23 April 2012. Among the recipients, Tao Li has won the Award seven times in as many years as the Award has been created. Stefan Tseng received his fourth award and Valerie Pereira her second, while Scott Glen Sydney, Victoria Chan (Sailing), Amanda Lim, Mylene Ong (Swimming) and Dipna Lim-Prasad are maiden winners.

On behalf of the recipients, Tao Li thanked the British Chamber of Commerce, Singapore: "Fourteen of us have benefitted from the Lord Sebastian Coe-British Chamber of Commerce Dream 2012 Award I have received the Award the most number of times, since 2006.

"On behalf of Singapore Sports School, I thank the British Chamber of Commerce, Singapore, for creating the Dream 2012 Award for us - to encourage us in our bid for London 2012.

"The eight of us have been nominated by our National Sports Associations and are therefore one step closer to representing Singapore at the Olympic Games. We hope to make the team. Be assured that we will be working our hardest in the next few months to make it to London. And when in London, we will be doing our best to make Singapore and the British Chamber of Commerce proud."
