Sports For A Cause
Project Infinity 2014
Student-athletes, alumni, parents and staff ran and swam on 10 May and raised $44,324 for Club Rainbow (Singapore) through Project Infinity, Singapore Sports School’s SportsCare event for 2014.
Participants ran and swam as parents and School partners donated generously. In all, they ran 2,456 kilometres and swam 130 kilometres. Funds were raised through pledge cards which were distributed to all student-athletes and staff about a month before the event.
Student-athletes from the Yellow Cheetahs House did their part for charity, spending the evening of 9 May baking cupcakes for sale. Organisers also sold special event t-shirts, with proceeds going into the pot for Club Rainbow, which is a charity organisation that provides comprehensive help to children who are suffering from a range of chronic and life-threatening illnesses and their families.
