Anti-Bullying Week

The emotional scars run deep for those bullied and it is our responsibility to ensure that bullying is not tolerated anywhere. This year, the Anti-Bullying Week kicked off with a skit by our student-athletes and it sent out a strong message about our zero tolerance stand towards bullying. The skit portrayed a clear scenario where a student-athlete is being excluded in conversations, wrongly blamed and separated from group discussions. The audience jumped in to spot the wrongs in the skit and corrected the actions of the performers.
Character and Citizenship Education lessons taught during the week were also focused on the anti-bullying message. Student-athletes also wrote pledges in The Arena on how they can step up to prevent bullying and participated in an anti-bullying poster competition.
