2012 Past vs Present Games

2nd November 2012 saw the inaugural Past vs Present Games being competed across five different sports: Badminton, Bowling, Football, Netball and Table Tennis. Even as the skies threatened to rain on our parade, it could not dampen the camaraderie and fun, both past and present student-athletes shared during their games.

We were encouraged by the 65 alumni who came back for the games, amongst them included newly crowned Asian Champion, Keith Saw (Bowling) and SSP’s top ‘O’ Level student in 2011, Elizabeth Hwang (Netball). Other notable alumni included current Young Lions players Aquari Abdullah, Faris Salleh, Shafiq Zainal and Shafiq Ghani, who received a National call-up this year.

With a score of 3 : 2 to the Past Team, our Alumni has the honour of marking themselves on the event plaque for winning the overall event!
